Who this villa suits

A group that has a tee time in the morning and a park in the afternoon.

Groups who would rather share one villa than book five hotel rooms.
The golf
Feels Like Funshine backs onto the ChampionsGate Country Club course, an 18-hole, par-72 layout designed by golf architect George Clifton. The club is semi-private, and its public tee times can be booked online, so guests staying in the villa can play the course right behind them. The greens fee includes a cart and range balls, and there’s a six-tee system that suits everyone from low handicaps to beginners (the back tees play about 7,070 yards). The practice range has peninsula target greens, and the Champions Grill clubhouse is there for lunch after a round. The view from the pool deck is fairway, not a neighbor’s fence.
Elsewhere in ChampionsGate, the Omni Orlando Resort has two more courses designed by Greg Norman, the National and the International, so a group of golfers has plenty of choice without leaving the community. Rates change with the season, so check each club for current pricing. The Country Club’s golf office is at (407) 507-2756.
The villa
The saltwater pool and spa have complimentary heat and a screened enclosure. Inside there’s a movie theater (150-inch screen, Dolby Atmos, Laser 4K projector) and a game room with a pool table, air hockey, foosball, skee-ball and shuffleboard. The open floor plan keeps a big group together, an outdoor table seats 8, and free baby gear is available. A dog is welcome too ($120 per dog, usually a two-dog limit, 50 lb max, flexible).

ChampionsGate, Reunion or Windsor Hills?
All three are popular Disney-area villa communities, and the right one depends on the trip.
| ChampionsGate | Windsor Hills | Reunion | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Magic Kingdom | 13.3 miles, about 25 minutes | about 10 miles, roughly 15 to 22 minutes | about 12.5 to 13 miles, roughly 18 to 19 minutes |
| What stands out | Golf, water park, big villas for large groups | The shortest drive to the parks | Upscale resort feel |
| Best for | Big groups who want golf and resort days | Families who want the shortest possible drive | Travelers after a more upscale setting |
Windsor Hills and Reunion figures are typical estimates from rental listings, so actual times vary with traffic. If the shortest drive matters most, Windsor Hills is hard to beat. If the group wants space, golf and a resort to enjoy on non-park days, ChampionsGate is a strong fit.
