Feels Like Funshine’s Pool, Spa & Lanai
Feels Like Funshine has a fantastic outdoor space, perfect for relaxing and soaking in the Florida sun!
The back of the house faces the golf course, sitting in the lanai or pool while looking out onto the golf course while taking in the sun is an experience in itself.
The entire lanai and pool deck are in a pool enclosure, keeping out a lot of the pesky Florida critters and bugs.
The Pool
The pool was converted to saline (a salt water system) which is much better for everyone’s health, especially the little ones.
It’s a east facing pool, you’ll get sun on the pool from sunrise until around 5pm.
The pool is heated year round, and we usually set it around 88 degrees.
Unlike other Champions Gate vacation rentals, here there is no charge extra for pool heat and we can set the temperature to whatever you are most comfortable with.
The Spa
The spa is an extension of the pool with an over flow feature that creates a small water fall from the spa into the pool.
Because the pool and spa share the same water, the spa is also salt water,
It has 4 jets and can seat 4 – 6 people comfortably. The timer for the spa is on the wall, by the pool enclosure door on your right as you walk out of the sliding doors onto the pool deck.
Similar to the pool we can set the temperature to whatever you feel comfortable with, typically the temperature is set to 104 degrees.
The Outdoor Dining Area
The outdoor dining table seats 8, and a couple of ceiling fans to give you a bit of a breeze during those warm afternoons.
The Outdoor Seating Area
The outdoor seating area has an outdoor sectional that can seat 8 comfortably and a cocktail table.
It’s a great place to relax, have drinks and take in the beautiful view.
The Lounge Chairs
There are 6 comfortable lounge chairs with padding built into them.
It’s the perfect spot to work on your tan!
Removable Pool Safety Fence
To make sure the little ones can only go into the pool when they should, you’ll have a pool safety fence you can leave up.
In case you’re wondering, we do not have a door sensor on the sliding door.
We’ve had many guests ask about it in the past, not because they wanted it but because they did NOT want it.
They found it annoying, and if we’re being honest we agree with them. So we never installed one.
We find the security fence to be the perfect way to not annoy everyone, all while keeping the little ones safe.
Pool and Spa FAQ
Q – What Temperature is the pool?
A – The pool is kept at 88 degrees, but it can be increased or decreased based on your preference.
Q – Is pool heat an extra charge?
A – Nope, we don’t charge anything for pool heat.
Q – How deep is the pool?
A – The pool is 3 feet deep on the shallow end and 5 feet on the deep end.
