The Private Movie Theater at Feels Like Funshine
The private movie theater is the feature guests call the star of this Champions Gate villa. It is a dedicated room with a 150-inch screen, a laser 4K projector, Dolby Atmos surround sound, and tiered stadium seating with 10 leather power recliners, in a villa that backs onto the Champions Gate golf course. After a long day at the parks, it is where the whole group piles in for movie night without anyone leaving the villa.
Inside the Theater: What You Get
This is a real home cinema, set up for a big group:
- A 150-inch screen
- A laser 4K projector mounted overhead
- Dolby Atmos surround sound
- Tiered stadium seating with 10 leather power recliners, each with cup holders in the arms
- Blinds on the windows and soft wall sconces, so the room can go dim for movie time
- A Roku, YouTube, Netflix, and cable TV, all on one remote
It is a room built for the full big-screen experience, not a TV on a wall.
Bring Your Own Streaming Accounts
The theater has a Roku, so you can sign in to your own Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV+, or Vudu account and watch your favorites on the big screen. Just sign out when you leave so your account stays private.
Is It Good for Kids and Big Groups?
Yes. The tiered seating gives the back row a clear view of the screen, and ten power recliners make it easy to gather a big family. It is a favorite with kids on a rest day or a rainy afternoon, and a nice way to bring everyone back together after a day at the parks.
How Do You Work the Theater Remote?
One universal remote runs everything, so nobody has to juggle controllers. Here is all you need:
- Press the Activities button, just below the remote’s screen.
- Pick what you want from the list on the screen: Watch Roku, Watch YouTube, Watch Netflix, or Watch Cable TV.
- Use the Vol buttons and the arrow pad to adjust the sound and move around.
- Press the Off button at the top when you are done.
